I am

I am a contradiction for within me resides a multitude. I am an amalgam of diverse schools of thought. I am in a constant predicament and struggle tipping the standpoint of the optimist and the pessimist. I was born a dreamer. I love gazing at clouds and white picket fences. I find peace staring at the still, silvery surface of a lake. I place immeasurable value on solitude. I love silence yet I cannot sit still for a long period of time. I must be mobile and in motion. I keep my mind awake in deep thoughts trying to figure out what purpose will drive me in this lifetime.

Camotes Island, Cebu

A week after my Bohol getaway, I got the chance to squeeze in a 4-day weekend trip bound for the Camotes Islands. Camotes, which consisted four islands are situated between Cebu and Leyte, geographically it’s part of Cebu but near the Leyte province. It’s an hour trip away from Mactan Airport to Danao Port and a 2 hour ferry ride from the port of Danao to Camotes. Again, snapshots have always been part of any island jaunt.

markgosingtian: Anyone remember watching those old Iron Man cartoons where Tony Stark carried a briefcase that TRANSFORMED INTO HIS IRON MAN SUIT? (must be why it’s called a suitcase - haha. haha.) So I was watching the new movie’s trailer and THEY’RE GONNA FEATURE THAT BRIEFCASE. Man, it’s small details like these that really get my excited. haha. (Clips taken from the 1996 Iron Man cartoon intro, and the Iron Man 2 movie trailer.)

Growing up in the 90s was a blast. It has got to be the best era. I made this up to remind me of what kept me glued to my TV set. Silly, but undoubtedly memorable.
